Important Dates:
December 21st - Application Process will be announced.
January 21st - Accepting Applications Rolling Basis
February 21st - Early decision applications will be accepted for those that are positive they will be joining us on our next mission regardless of dates which could range from May 20- July 20.
March 21st Final Applications accepted and official travel dates will be confirmed if not before!
Sunday April 5th at 7pm - Selection of final Travel Team by a panel of Smile Sports Advisors will be Announced at the NCAA Division 1 Final 4 between games.
May 20-July 20 - Possible Trip Dates (Likely a 12 Day Trip including 3-4 destinations)

The Basketball Travel Team
8-10 College Athletes, we travel with a small team so that everyone makes an impact.
Humanitarian Trips First - Our focus is on athletes that want to make an impact in disadvantaged youth in areas of need by helping local community leaders build lasting programs.
Our trips fill up fast and we can only accept a maximum of 2 athletes from any one NCAA team. We like to bring a diverse group of athletes from a variety of schools.
Additional Travel Members
1 Lead Travel Coach
1-2 Smile Sports Special Operations (Video, Photography, Marketing, Travel Coordinator etc..)
1-2 Dental students or professionals will also be selected.
Multiple Local Leaders will be working with us in each area and will also travel to multiple destinations with the team.
Application Process
Coaches, Dentist and Special Volunteers also follow the same application process which will be announced on December 21st.
Athletes and Coaches that can serve a dual purpose for the trip are highly prioritized.
Priority for athletes will go to those students entering their senior year followed by those entering Graduate and Junior years.
Although we will have competitive games and practice time are trips are set up to be humanitarian based first. If that is not something is of interest to you then this might not be the right trip for you.
For coaches and staff we are looking for those that have extensive youth camp experience and can be a director of the camp and coach of the travel team. Coaches that have experience in the Philippines or on International trips is a plus but not a requirement.
